得知艺美邀请我担任本次“艺境”展的策划时，我十分激动-----这是一个崭新的艺术展览理念，她将艺术从高阁中松绑，带入我们真实的生活中；敞开大门，让社会公众直接感知艺术；熟悉艺术的表达方式；不仅如此，“艺境”展更是将艺术品置于“空间”中来探讨，从视角中，从日常生活的点滴中，去品味她。
作为艺术展览空间，艺美画廊如一块天然自成的画布。我在里面用墙板隔开了一条流畅且变化丰富的通道，上面装饰了一系列拼接色块，用于提高亮度。在这里，我将艺术与设计融入在“生活”的概念中。我一直喜欢在各种各样的空间里，通过作品创作来诠释新的生活方式。不是为了表达而去表达，也不是刻意地为了创造新的生活方式而进行创造。庆幸的是，“艺境”展览给予了我一次机会，从艺术的角度出发，为富有想象力的观众们营造了一个可观可感的空间。在我眼中，艺术，就是是在你的情感被她的巨大魅力所激发出来时，应该被充分享受的。本次展览正如艺术品自身所呈现出的一样，她犹如一段乐章，将我们日常生活片段、图像、色彩、对象以及观念等组成富有节奏的旋律。
当我面对这些用于空间各位置，精心选择的当代艺术作品、设计家具、雕塑、陈设物品、以及装饰时，我都将它们作为富有生命的对象去解读。我根据各个单件作品的色质、造型、质地来进行具体设计，并对其进行分析和对比。在这个过程中，艺术品仅保留其文化价值而存在，或坦白地说，她仅作为一个图像符号而出现。就画廊空间而言，她要求多重的视角来介绍不同的作品，而每一件作品都要求既能够突出所属空间，又能够唤醒我们对自己日常生活某一片段的回顾。
我非常享受本次设计过程。并特别感谢艺美能给我自由的空间，让我从室内设计师的专业角度和经验出发，酝酿这一场“创作”对话。并且，我还要感谢我在思佩思室内设计咨询有限公司的出色团队,他们也是此次创作不可或缺的功臣。每个艺术家和设计师都背景迥异，有自己的视角和表达手段，而“艺·境” 展在这次跨界文化体验中提供了一个平台，安排他们在此“邂逅”。
ARTMIA Living

When I was invited as the curator of “Art in Place”, I was very thrilled by its meaning. “ARTMAI Living” is a new concept of art exhibition, which makes art reaching towards life and allows the public to connect to art, to recognize it as a familiar expression, visualizing it “in place”, in perspective, in a daily moment of life.
ArtMia’s Gallery, as a natural backdrop for art, became a canvas for our scenery: I created an articulate and dynamic walls path, highlighted by a sequence of hues combinations, where I made art meeting design “in life”. What I like to do through my work is to create lifestyles, no matter what the space is: this is either the expression or the creation of a lifestyle. With “ARTMIA Living” I had the chance to envision imaginary lifestyles for imaginary users, and art was the inspiration. Art, in my opinion, is to be enjoyed when you feel its power to bring out emotions. This exhibition is a rhythm of life moments, images, colors, objects, perceptions, the same as what art gives and builds up.
Selected contemporary works encounter designed furniture, sculptures, objects and décor in various space angles, which I interpreted and designed like living settings. I have combined the pieces considering their color quality, their shapes, their textural nature and creating, with these, analogies or contrasts, considering art as intellectual value or, purely, as a graphic sign. The gallery space, then, acquires various points of view, introduces different “still lives”, where each piece highlights the space and evokes a moment of our daily life.
I enjoyed and I am thankful to ArtMia to allow my professional view and my experience, as Interior Designer, to ideate this dialogue of “creations”. I’m also thankful to my wonderful team at SPACES Interiors who were an integral part of this creation. “ARTMIA Living” translates, then, in a cross cultural experience, where artists “meet” designers, each of them coming from different backgrounds, and each of them carrying his visions and tools of expressions.
