Oleg Eremeev entered the art life of Russia in the second part of XX century as a master-painter and a talented drawer, working in different genres: historical painting, portrait, still life, landscape.
Oleg Eremeev was born in Leningrad. In 1957 graduated with honours from I.E. Repin Institute, studio headed by professor B.V. Iogansson.
Further creative life of the artist was closely linked to the creative studio of the Academy of Arts of USSR (Leningrad), where he worked till 1961.
Since 1959 Oleg Eremeev was a teacher at the I.E. Repin Institute.
Since 1989 Oleg Eremeev was a Chair of the Drawing Department at the I.E. Repin Institute.
Since 1996 Oleg Eremeev was a Head of his personal studio of painting.
Within the period 1977-1990 Oleg Eremeev was a Vice Rector for Education at the I.E. Repin Institute.
Within the period 1999-2001 O. Eremeev was Rector of I.E. Repin Institute.
Simultaneously the Artist was carrying active creative life and participates in international and Russian exhibitions.

Artworks by Oleg Eremeev are placed to several Russian museums, and also to private collections abroad. Oleg Eremeev’s book “From America to Russia”, illustrated by author’s drawings, has been published in 1997.

The album dedicated to Oleg Eremeev’s art works has been published in China in 2002 in a series of albums “Studios of Contemporary Russian Artists”. Another album titled “Oleg Eremeev. Flowers and Women” was published in 2005.
Eremeev’s book “Pages about my creative life” was published in 2010.
