China is becoming the focus of the world in the 21st Century, just as western people put it:”We should get used to the transfer of the stage of history toward China.”

The countries throughout the world are concerned about all aspects in China, economy, politics, culture and the society. And they also intend to read the souls of Chinese: the best means to analyze the inner world of Chinese is art.

Chinese in the meanwhile feel great pains during the expansion of confidence: they fail to give much attention to their mental world – a spiritual category containing long memories and strong rhythm of contemporary life. This clear mental picture will in a new manner tell us and others: how we look at our past, who we are now and where we’re going.

The mental picture is a new mechanism demonstrating the symbols of the light of existence. After the political Pop of the transitional period, cynical realism and gorgeously vulgar art, the great Chinese visual tradition is gradually integrated with the spirit of aesthetic reflection in China today, the best manner to represent it is the splendid Chinese abstract arts in a vast historical-contemporary and philosophic-aesthetic context.

It reminds us of what Wittgenstein said: “Imagining a form of language is like imagining a form of life.”
