前波画廊受特别委托即将于2010年8月于前波 北京举办 中国当代艺术《一江春水》预展。本展览着眼于江南文化中中国想象及长江的重要性。长江，崛起于山脉，经过漫长旅途，最终到达广阔的三角洲地带。她用自身的变化映衬着两岸的变化，同时她也是内陆与公海，中国传统与现代性的重要沟通交流渠道。《一江春水》力图探索这些成长于中国江南文化传统之中的中国顶级当代艺术实践者是如何回应当今的全球化问题，例如乡镇城市化、工业化以及景观减少。

接下来，此展览将于2010年10月至2011年2月在英国林肯郡The Collection the County Museum正式展出。

In August 2010 Chambers Fine Art will preview a specially commissioned exhibition of Chinese contemporary art focusing on the significance in the Chinese imagination of Jiangnan culture and the Yangtze River. On its journey from the mountains to the great delta, the Yangtze functions as a metaphor for constant change, as a channel between the open sea and the interior, and between tradition and modernity. River Flows East seeks to explore how some of China’s premier contemporary artists from the region are inheritors of Jiang Nan tradition and how they are responding to current globalised questions such as urbanization and industrialization of the countryside and the disappearance of the landscape

Following its showing at Chambers Beijing River Flows East will show at The Collection the County Museum of Lincolnshire, England between October 2010 and February 2011.
