断章取义

我对影响和改变人们的存在和变化有兴趣，

新的，旧的，好的，坏的，星星点点，

色彩交织，层层叠叠，密密麻麻，无始无终，重复复制，复制重复，

我像一个记者一样，观察、体验并记录着我们这个装满理想和矛盾的社会，

民心振动，以身示之，

没啥说的，

2008年3月我在工作室门口种了一颗桃树，

再不愿看人类的那点破事！转过身去临石观海，

接近自己，

再给自己一个继续的理由。

红，

天已经亮了，你问我像不像个傻瓜？

以上十二行文字，每行都是一个艺术家的语录，他们事先彼此并不知晓对方要讲什么，只是有心人随意串起，竟然发现彼此之间如此心有灵犀，写在前面，是为前言！

Out of Context

I am interested in all that influence and change people’s existence.

New, old, good, bad, bits and pieces.

Colors are intermingled, layer by layer, close and numerous, endless, repeating and reproducing, reproducing and repeating.

Like a journalist, I observe, experience and record our society filled with ideals and contradictions.

I like to expose disturbing turbulence with my own body.

There is nothing to say.

I planted a peach tree in front of my studio in March 2008.

I hate to see dirty things among humankind. Instead, I’d like to turn to enjoy viewing ocean by the cliffs.

To approach myself.

Give myself one more reason to keep on.

It’s already dawn. Are you asking me if I am a fool?

The above twelve statements come from the participating artists when they are asked to speak one sentence about their works. Each line is one artist’s quotation. They don’t know what the rest will say. Some one casually connects these sentences and discovers that there is such an intriguing poetic reference to each other.
