素描是绘画的灵魂,它丰富的灰调,恰似一张黑白照片,寧静优美。在绘画的眾多媒体中，我对素描情有独钟，是我赖以表达感受的最率真的创作手段。

今次展出的画作属素描小品，没有喧闹的色彩和声势浩大的场面，题材都取自围绕着我们生活的旧东西，小情景。在创作的过程中，我自觉像一个写故事的人，用平淡的笔调，描绘我见到的，在生活中最微小的事物，让它们成為作品的主角。我彷彿意识到，影响我们生命的，往往不是重大事件，而是无数细碎的回忆。

Drawing is the soul of painting. The rich gray tone of drawing looks like a black and white photo, beautiful and peaceful. Drawing has long been my favorite among various art media. It is the simplest way for me to express my feeling towards the world in art.

This exhibition is being made up by my drawings. Subjects are everyday things that surround us. There are no ornate styles or bustling scenes. Through the process of making art, I feel like I am just like a story writer, a narrator who presents the most little things. By the use of simple pencil strokes, the little things in our life became the main character of the pieces. It makes me ponder, things that affect our life are always many small memories rather than momentous incidents.
