两个月前，当我陌生地推开马老师在宋庄的工作室，与他聊了很久。这也是，我第一次与一位艺术家面对面地听他谈自己作品和生活感受。艺术家的作品是极具写实的，也是他生活的写照：公共汽车来回穿梭在两点一线的生活中，灰暗的天空，空旷的马路，无人的街道；夏未时分，一个中年人懒散地步出宿舍，两个普通人的对话，刻录在生动的表情上。

喜欢马老师的作品，是因为他除了有扎实的学术，他也是多变的：可以平实的，诙谐的，幽默的，多彩的，丰富的。随着艺术家的心情，在变幻。艺术家的作品本就反映了他当下的心情，生命的感悟。没有看不懂，只有读得懂！
