一袭黑衣如同“故国”已然成为蔡志松先生的标志。颇具历史感伤的雕塑语言已逐渐为大家所理解，一丝不苟的着装风格，我们也从中读懂了蔡先生对待艺术的严谨与认真。延续故国系列“风”、“雅”、“颂”三部分具象与抽象兼备的手法，蔡志松先生经过近两年时间创作完成的最新作品《颂·9》在艺术手法上更成熟，语言更精练，内涵更丰富。颂系列体现了蔡先生艺术技法的纯熟。风系列中，蔡先生对塑造的减化，更强调的是雕塑材料之间碰撞产生的语言。雅系列的无字立轴与屏风，突出了艺术家与作品的对话。

从故国系列中，我们捕捉到了蔡先生自我内心的抒发。玫瑰系列始终贯穿于他的创作过程。最新完成的玫瑰系列浮雕装置成为这一时期艺术家在语言选择上的转变。从超越历史时空的文化叙事转而走向窥探审视自我的心灵史。由繁复的专业化语言和历史文化背景的提炼转变为简洁单纯的个人情绪述写。如同蔡志松先生自言：“我是个沿着一个方向匀速前进的人”，请不要再提问：“你有没有什么新作品？”“有没有新做什么？”蔡先生已经在他个人建立于本土文化基础上的现代艺术样式中不断探索向前。

Motherland and Roses - Cai Zhisong Art Exhibition

Introduction:
Just like his dressing style - always in black, Cai Zhisong takes "the fallen dynasty" as his symbol.
His historical artistic language has been understood gradually, just like his personal style, exquisite. We can find Cai's sincerity to art.

Based on the fusion of concrete and abstract, Cai Zhisong developed his Motherland Series - Feng, Ya, Song to a new level - Song 9 which cost him two years, with more mature artistic techniques and language. If it is said that Song Series is an embodiment of Cai's artistic skill; then the beauty of Feng Series lays in its simplification of modeling and the conflict between materials. In Ya Series, the vertical scrolls and screens show the dialogue between the artist and his works.

In Motherland Series, we can find Cai's inner world expression. Roses penetrate into his creation. These recent relief sculptures series is a breakthrough of the artist’s language - from transhistorical narration to introspective individual history, from complicated professional language and historical culture abstraction to simple personal expression.

Just like Cai said: " I am the one who is always in uniform motion. Please stop asking me whether I have any new works." Cai is always developing his individual understanding with modern artistic mode, based on native culture.
