由北京全艺社主办的“烟草战”——马若龙作品展将於叁月二十六日在北京全艺社798新空间登陆。本次展览将展出澳门着名艺术家马若龙於二零壹零年创作的叁十二幅绘画手稿。该展览是北京全艺社进驻798后的第一个展览，届时将有来自澳门及大陆艺术界、媒体界人士出席开幕。

马若龙出生于澳门，身上流淌着中葡两种血统。作為一名卓有成就的艺术家，他二十九岁时就因為促进中外文化交流而被授予文化功勋奖章成為澳门有史以来最年轻的受勋者。他是澳门艺术界璀璨的明星，集建筑师、画家、诗人、社会活动家等角色於一身，从澳门文化司司长到狠多展览的策划者，从诗歌领域领军人物到澳门狠多着名建筑的设计者，马若龙的涉猎面是如此广泛，功绩是如此卓越。他的建筑作品满佈澳门街头，而最广為人知的近作必定是去年上海世界博览会中的澳门馆“大兔子”。他拥有诗人和艺术家的浪漫情怀，也有建筑师和政治家的严谨。完美主义让他精益求精，他学识渊博、和蔼又文质彬彬的态度让他富有魅力，马若龙常被人形容是上帝的宠儿。

本次展览的作品以情景绘画的方式记录在旧账本上，香烟、猫、骑士、波普符号、中国印章就诞生在这些日常琐碎的消费裡面，观眾在欣赏了这些幽默、有趣图像的同时，也感悟了一个完美认真艺术家的日常生活。毫无疑问马若龙是一位充满活力和想像力的艺术家，他画中的形象形态各异，或高雅稳重，或粗俗野逸，有时充满了调侃，有时充满了深思。此外，中国传统纹样也是他喜欢使用的符号，青花瓷、印章、缠枝纹样等在他的作品裡都可以看到。提到中国传统文化，不能不说马若龙是一位“中国通”，他对中国民间艺术尤其是明清时代的传统文化有着深厚的造诣。从教育背景说，马若龙接受的是西式教育，青年时代他在葡萄牙、瑞典、德国留学熟稔西方文化，对澳门的眷恋让他对中国文化又情有独钟。本次所展出的作品也体现了中国传统文化对他的影响，中国古人使用印章和提拔的习惯在他的画中可见端倪。马若龙是一位融匯中外、贯通古今的人，在他身上体现出了东西方文化的和谐交融。

马若龙的这个展览与香烟有关，体现了吸烟者的一种矛盾心态。一方面正如马若龙所说每个吸烟者都是在跟香烟谈恋爱，吞云吐雾的感觉跟恋爱一样让人心动而喜悦；另一方面香烟正如毒品危害了健康又让人陷入其中无法自拔。不论是把烟塞到马和猫的嘴裡、让不同时代和地域的领袖们聚在一起吸烟、还是让武士们拿烟作為武器等等，均呈现於马若龙无穷无尽的想像世界，欢迎大家前来一起参与这场别具意义的“烟草战”。

"Tobacco Wars" – Works by Carlos Marreiros

"Tobacco Wars" – Works by Carlos Marreiros, which is organized by AFA Beijing, will be held on March 26 at AFA’s new space in Beijing 798 art zone. This is the first exhibition after AFA’s moving into 798 art zone, 32 pieces of manuscript paintings created by a famous Macau artist Carlos Marreiros in 2010 will showcase during the exhibition. People from arts and media industry in Macau and Mainland will also be invited to the opening.

Carlos, with Chinese and Portuguese blood, was born in Macau. As an accomplished artist, he was awarded “Medal of Cultural Merit” because of promoting Sino -foreign cultural exchange when he was 29 years old and became the youngest person to receive this honor in Macau history. He is a bright star in the arts industry in Macau, is an architect, painter, poet and also social activist. From the Director of Cultural Institute of Macau Government to the curator for many exhibitions, from the leader in the poetry field to the architect for many famous buildings in Macau, the area he engages in is so board and his merit is so great. His architectural works covered the streets of Macau, and the most well-known work recently must be the "big rabbit" , the Macao Pavilion in Shanghai World Expo last year. He has the romanticism of poet and artist, the conscientiousness of the architect and politician. The perfectionism makes him excelsior, the profound learning and gentle manner make him attractive, Carlos Marreiros is often described as God's favorite.

Works in this exhibition were created by using the sketches and painting on the old account books, and the cigarettes, cats, Knights, Pope Symbols and Chinese seals came from the daily trivial consumption. While the audiences are enjoying these humorous and amusing images, at the same time, they also know the daily life of a perfect and earnest artist. There is no doubt that Carlos is a dynamic and imaginative artist, the images in his painting are in various forms, sometimes they are elegant and dignified, sometimes they are vulgar and wild, sometimes filled with ridicule, and sometimes full of thoughts. In addition, the traditional Chinese patterns are also his favorite symbols, blue and white porcelain, stamps, interlocking branch patterns can all be seen in his works. While we are talking the traditional Chinese culture, we need to call him as "China hand". He has the profound attainments for the Chinese folk art, especially the traditional culture of Ming and Qing era. From the educational background, Carlos received the Western education, learnt the western culture in Portugal, Sweden and Germany. His sentimental attachment to Macao let to his great passion on the Chinese culture. The works shown in this exhibition also reflects the influence of Chinese traditional culture to him, and the habits of using seals and promotion by the Chinese ancient can also be seen in his paintings. Carlos is a person with thorough knowledge of east and west, ancient and modern, which embody the harmonious blend of Eastern and Western cultures.

The works in this exhibition is relating to cigarettes, which reflects the contradictory mind of the smokers. On the one hand, as mentioned by Carlos, every smoker is in love with cigarettes, the feeling of puff is like the love which is impressive and joyful; on the other hand, cigarettes as drugs, hazard the health and people can not get out of them. It’s only Carlos Marreiros can come up with the idea of stuffing cigarette into the mouths of horse and cat, and let the leaders from different time and place to smoke together, and use the cigarette as a weapon.
