Leo Gallery proudly presents the solo exhibition for New York City-based artist Basmat Levin. Born in Israel, Basmat has traveled the world. The artist digests the cultures she has encountered through painting portraiture and still lifes that encapsulate the aura and visual elements of each locale. Strong, vibrant palettes and full, expressive brushwork are signatures of her style. Yet from beneath the bold exterior of colors and broad strokes, one can sense an enduring strength.
