他将传统的写实绘画，经过抽象和极简主义的提炼，理性地建构出具有个人独特风格的现代艺术理念。平面的色块在空间内进退自如，不动声色地呈现其深度。强大的生活本身在他的画面中安静下来......他笔下的现实，似乎比过去或未来更显得扑朔迷离。

另一方面，画家愿意承担风险，选择了一幅幅漠视公众期望的场景。没有夸张的煽情姿态、没有虚伪的不朽面具。它们孤独优雅，以自己的能量存在。

王强，1971年出生在中国北京。1997年毕业于中央美术学院版画系。2002年获得Konrad Klapheck教授Meisterschuele学位，师从Jan Dibbets教授。2004年获得德国杜塞尔多夫艺术学院Akademiebrief学位，2008年回国。

Abstract color on canvas and convincing realistic scene usually contradicts each other, while Wang Qiang reconciles them well. He refines traditional realistic painting with abstractionism and minimalism approach, and rationally constructs a modern art concept with unique personal style. On the other hand, the artist would like to take risks, choosing one scene after another that disregard public expectation. There is no exaggerated sensational gesture or hypocritical mask of immortality. They are solitary and elegant, existing with their own force.

Wang Qiang was born in Beijing, in 1971. He graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1997, achieved Meisterschüler by Prof. Konrad Klapheck and then studied by Prof. Jan Dibbets in 2002. He achieved the Akademiebrief of Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2004, back to Beijing in 2008.
