九十年代，季云飞在美国布鲁克林区因水墨画创作而开始收到艺术界关注。本展是他在北京举办的首次个展。季云飞通过镜头下的与水有关的灾难、基建工程以及人类的迁徙，来表现他的两个故乡的历史发展。

Yun-Fei Ji made his artistic name in the 1990s as a Chinese ink painter working in Brooklyn. In this, his first solo exhibition in Beijing, Ji examines historical developments in his two homelands through the lens of water-related disasters and infrastructural projects and the human displacement these entail.
